Fourth International Symposium on Thrombosis and Vessels

The Fourth International Symposium on Thrombosis and Vessels, which took place on May 15–16, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Skopje, unfolded in a pleasant and inspiring atmosphere. It brought together top national and international experts, including cardiologists, specialists in vascular medicine, internal medicine, hematology, transfusion medicine, dermatology, and family medicine, as well as subspecialists and residents.
Thrombosis and vascular diseases represent some of the most serious challenges in modern medicine, significantly impacting patients’ health and quality of life. Professional symposia like this are of immense importance, as they allow physicians and healthcare professionals to stay updated on the latest scientific insights, modern diagnostic methods, and therapies—fostering the continuous education necessary to ensure better patient care.

27th Symposium of AGP-FM

In a packed hall, with addresses by prominent guests and the presence of numerous physicians, lecturers, and specialists from various fields, as well as representatives of pharmaceutical companies, the 27th Symposium with International Participation of the Association of General and Family Medicine Physicians (AGP-FM) was solemnly opened yesterday evening. The symposium is taking place from April 24 to 26, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Skopje, under the thematic title “Four Systems – One Individual.”
This event is not merely a continuity, but a successful tradition—a proven test of the maturity, dedication, and vision of our profession. In a time when medicine is advancing at a rapid pace, and knowledge is being fragmented into increasingly narrow specialties, we, as primary healthcare physicians, have both the privilege and the obligation to preserve the wholeness of the individual as the center of medical care.

Virological Symposium: “The Meeting of Old and New Viruses at the Crossroads of Time”

On April 17 and 18, the first multidisciplinary symposium in Macedonia dedicated exclusively to viruses, titled “The Meeting of Old and New Viruses at the Crossroads of Time,” took place at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje. The expectations were not only met, but exceeded. The level of interest, turnout, and quality of the program confirmed the need for such gatherings and gave us additional motivation to continue with even more ambitious activities in the future.
In a short period, national and international experts from different fields and generations united—from experienced professionals to young researchers—creating a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere at the first multidisciplinary symposium in Macedonia dedicated solely to viruses.

SMART PHARMACIST MODULE 5

Pharmacists play an essential role in improving public health, including in the domain of mental health. Mental health is an extremely important and sensitive topic that is part of the daily lives of patients, as well as healthcare professionals, and must not be marginalized – was the main message following the conclusion of the Fifth Symposium “Pharmacy Healthcare – Smart Pharmacist Module 5”, held on March 13 and 14, 2026, at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje, organized by the Association of Private Pharmacies of RN Macedonia (ZPARSM), and dedicated to mental health.
